These end-of-year holidays are the saddest time for me. It’s not because of religion. It’s because of a personal experience I had at the end of 1987. That’s when my family unraveled. The memories are so vivid — and I can’t control them. I tried to wipe out those sad memories, but to no avail!

Of course, I can’t wipe out the holidays from the calendar! I only drink to get drunk and sleep. Luckily, we had also football! After football, I took also a time out. One day without turning my computer on. I just drank and slept!

But there is still a problem I have with my FTP site. It was caused by the hosting company. To make it worse, they lied straight face to me that there was no problem at all! I know now what the problem is. They upgraded the server side of the FTP. Such bad timing … the week between Christmas and New Year! Last year I had that noise problem caused by the ventilation to the heating system…


I wish everybody the happiest of times, with as few problems as possible! The best of luck to all!
